A smooth and pleasant Sheng Pu-Erh tea from Ming Feng Shan, a high mountain (2100 m above sea level) in Yunnan, which is not so famous but produces both good Pu-Erh tea and white tea. It is the same terroir where our Gushu White was produced. The bird on the packaging is the symbol of Ming Feng Shan (Ming Feng Mountain).
Ming Feng Shan is not a very popular mountain these days. The tea from this remote mountain is very pure and available at affordable prices.
Aroma of the dry leaves: fruity like dried apricot and mineral
Aroma of the wet leaves: fruity, herbaceous and earthy like forest after rain
Taste: subtly sweet, fruity, mineral, sometimes there is a trace of green jasmine tea in the aftertaste
Mouthfeel: silky, thin-medium, with very little astringency
This is an easy and enjoyable Sheng Pu Erh tea for everyday use. It only takes 10-20 seconds to brew in Gongfu style.
