This flat kyusu is handmade by Hirotaka Umehara, the second generation master of Gyokko 玉光 Studio.

Wunderschön und handwerklich hervorragend gemacht

Meine Frau liebt die Teekanne (war ein Geschenk an sie) und macht derzeit ausgedehnte Experimente, denn anscheinend verhält sich der Tee in einer Silberkanne anders als in Ton. Der Jadegriff ist immer anfassbar, auch den perfekt passenden Deckel kann man noch vorsichtig anheben, wenn das Silber viel zu heiß für Hautkontakt ist. Wenn die Sonne direkt darauf scheint, verwandelt sich die Kanne dank gehämmerter Oberfläche in einen funkelnden Stern. Fazit: Eine Kanne von hoher Qualität, wie von Teewald nicht anders erwartet.
