We are a big fan of Taiwanese Hong Oolong (red oolong). Since the Shimen Shuixian and Mingjian Rougui Hong Oolong are no longer available, we have been looking diligently for a new delicious Hong Oolong. And viola, a new Taiwanese cultivar, Jinxuan, which was first processed according to the art of an oolong tea and then oxidized a second time in the style of a black tea and then roasted strongly, with beautiful fruit and roasted fire flavor.
Hong Oolong is known for its fruity, spicy notes and its ripe and deep taste. has become our favorite oolong.
This tea tastes best when prepared using the Gongfu method. Please read more about it here 👇.
