A special, different type of tea: Cereal tea without caffeine

The roasted barley tea smells pleasantly of roasted grain and is reminiscent of bread, coffee or carafe. The taste is pleasantly light and not at all intrusive. Many people love this drink because of its lightness.

In Asia, e.g. Korea, Japan or China, barley tea is served as a welcome drink in the restaurant. A nice idea: Good to sit back and relax!

Since barley tea does not contain caffeine, it can be drunk at any time of the day without any problems.

In Japan this tea is also made traditionally cold as an iced tea drank. Very, very refreshing and really something different! In Japanese this tea is called "Mugicha", which means nothing else than barley tea.

The tea is a surprising alternative to conventional herbal teas.

Ich mag den gerösteten Gerstentee. Ob kalt oder warm für mich ein Genuss. Erinnert ein wenig an Kaffee und heisse Sommertage .

Nach anfänglicher Skepsis, bin ich angenehm überrascht was den vollen Geschmack..

...dieses Aufgusses angeht.
12h kalt angesetzt entwickelt sich ein wunderbares, leicht bitteres Aroma mit einer leckeren Getreidenote.
Auf alle Fälle sollte der Aufguß durch ein Tuch gesiebt werden, wenn man ihn nicht innnerhalb weniger Stunden aufbraucht.
Kommt auf alle Fälle dauerhaft auf den Tisch ;-)
Die Verpackung ist wiederverschließbar und erhält somit das Aroma wunderbar.

Geschmackssache

Ja, kann man trinken. Allerdings sagt mein Magen nach einer Weile - dankeschön, es reicht. Sollte ausprobiert werden, hat gesundheitlich positive Aspekte.
