Yancha „岩茶“from Wuyi Shan
In the northern part of Fujian Province, China, lies the Wuyi Mountains with 36 peaks and 99 rocks that were formed by movements of the earth's crust. It has been a World Heritage Site since 1999. Yancha is collected at the foot of these mountains and made from the leaves of tea trees that thrive on ancient mineral rock with the help of water, fog, wind, and sunlight. The word Yancha "岩茶" means rock or stone tea in German.
