Qimen is known as Keemun in Europe. It is a black tea from Anhua province in China, one of the first black teas to be exported to Europe centuries ago. Qimen Maofeng / Keemun Maofeng is produced in a very delicate manner and the picking standards are very strict. After withering, turning and fermenting, the buds and leaves turn from green to bronze, develop their aromas and are roasted over a gentle fire until dry.
However, we would like this tea to be called like its original name, because while it is not difficult to find Keemun in Europe, this quality is not often found. The picking standard is a bud with a leaf.
