The teapot is 100 percent handmade from pure Yixing Duanni from Huanglong Mountains (half handmade with a mold), ideal for Chinese tea ceremony, for enjoying kungfu tea or as an artistic collection.

Duanni is a shade of sand that is naturally gray-green before firing and yellow after firing.

Duanni is highly porous, Duanni teapots are breathable teapots due to their high porosity. It soaks up the mineral and essential oil in tea and becomes smooth and shiny after frequent use. Duanni teapot is also very flexible, it can brew all kinds of tea in it, but it is best for black tea and pu erh tea.

The volume of this teapot is approx. 150 ml. Similar to most Yixing teapots. This shape of the teapot is known as Lianyi in China.

This clay teapot is well suited for the preparation of dark teas such as black teas, pu erh teas or oolongs.
