This pot is half handmade from an original Zini from Huanglong Mountain in Yixing. The value of the pot goes into the original clay and into the difficult craft for making this pot. The most difficult part is to fit the lid to the pot, because of the special form, it is very difficult to make a tightly fit lid. The level of our handcrafter aiming for what to make the lid and pot fit visually as much as possible, but it was almost not possible to allow zero slobbering (leaking when pouring). Because of the high price a handcrafter asks for this Linghua Teapot, even when she can only make it with the help of a form, this one will be the last one in our shop. you won’t see it anymore in our shop. So if you like this form and aim for authentic purple sand clay instead of the perfection of the craft, then grab this one!
