Beautiful!

This is my first "real" clay teapot and I could not be more delighted. From the box it is packed in to the subtle color variations in the clay to the incredibly smooth finish, it's an absolutely beautiful little pot. Every time I use it I can't help but smile.

It also pours perfectly, but only if you notice the air vent is in the knob on the lid. At first I was accidentally covering the vent with my finger to hold the lid when I poured and made a mess. Don't make this mistake ;)

Das Kännchen hat ein Leergewicht von 185 Gramm. Sorry. Ich maß 211 Gramm inkl. nassem Tee, goss aber nur 9 Gramm auf, also inkl. 17 Gramm Wasser. Verblüffend.

Dieses Kännchen aus Nixing gefällt mir sehr gut. Ich gieße damit Shu Pu Erh auf. Die Verarbeitung ist sehr gründlich wie auf den Bildern zu sehen. Mit einem Gewicht von 200 Gramm macht das Kännchen eine gute Figur. Der Ton ist qualitativ gut und der steinig-metallische Eigengeschmack überwiegt nicht zu stark. Der Tee-Aufguß entleert sich sehr gut und es bleibt keine Flüssigkeit in der Kanne zurück. Ein sehr verlässliches Kännchen.
