Sheng Pu Erh tea made from 200 year old Gushu tea trees from Yunnan, China

Nannuo Shan 2020 Spring Gushu Sheng Pu Erh
Gushu means old trees.
This Nannuo Shan is a first class Sheng Pu Erh (Raw Pu Erh Tea) from old trees from old trees about 200 years old from the Nannuo Mountains in southern China. Harvest is spring 2020.
This Nannuo Shan Sheng Pu Erh comes from the same Gushu garden as our Nannuo 2019. But maybe again (as in the case of Ku Zhu Shan Dan Zhu) because of the drought, this year's tea is very, very sweet and powerful, full of energy. Because the Trees produce fewer leaves and the leaves grow slowly with more sunlight and more time for nutrients to build up. There is also less competition for energy between the leaves.
The cake is quite tightly pressed.
Aroma of the dry leaves in a warm gaiwan: flowery, very sweet after sugar candy and dried apricots.
Taste: fruity and floral with delicate bitterness and astringency. Very powerful and sweet aftertaste.
