The quality of the 2022 Da Xue Shan is the same as that of the 2021 Da Xue Shan: sweet, fruity and floral. But of course, a new Sheng Pu Erh has a more vibrant aroma and taste than an old one.
Da Xue Shan literally means big snow mountain, a terroir famous for producing Pu Erh tea with clear sweetness and good tea energy. The aroma of the dry leaves of our Da Xue Shan is floral and sweet in a very clear and refreshing way. The first infusion of tea has a pure sweetness, like morning air on high mountains and like nectar diluted in morning dew. From the second infusion, the tea shows its strength, which lies not only in the taste, but also in your body energy. The strength calms down from the 7th infusion and exudes pure sweetness that lasts for up to 10 infusions. This is a perfect tea to drink straight away and to age for years and even decades.
We set the time of the first infusion at around 10 to 15 seconds and then go down to around 10 seconds. Your tongue should clearly decide the details here. :)
